That infamous run week 5 run 3. Well thanks to the advice from people on here I did it today. It wasn't easy but it wasn't too difficult either. I really suprised myself at how well I did. 4 weeks left of the c25k and the plan is to be at parkruns by end of January or at least outdoors depending on my confidence. So proud of myself right now though.

Billiant! Well done, just watch out for W6 run 1 - it's more challenging than you think - but you can do it.

If you're interested in parkruns, I wouldn't wait to complete the Cto5k. Especially now you'll be running without a break, just rock up and use the parkrun as your training session. Run the Cto5K time and then walk the last bit as your warm-down. You won't be the only one doing that, believe me.

Congratulations Grumpypumpkin on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs 🏃 😊.

Definitely was a big moment for me as 2 years ago I was seriously overweight in pain and couldnt walk 500 yards without being short of breath.

Great job... that run really is great, and it says you can do this in six foot high neon letters! Enjoy week 6... slow and steady.

Yeah! Well done Grumpy! I’ve just completed w5r3 myself <high 5s self>.

Well done. I also completed this run yesterday and was a little apprehensive to say the least. It was challenging esp first 10 mins but then I found my pace got a little easier. This one is more of a mental challenge I feel as if you've reached this far you are physically able to do this distance it's more of getting used to running for this length of time which is the ultimate goal but to leave the walking breaks is a little like taking stabilizers of a child's bike when learning to ride. Good luck for week 6 and onwards everyone.
