Glorious sunshine here so needed no motivation to get out today.
There is a bit of wind but nothing I couldn't cope with and my route today was quieter than usual, exchanged a smile with a couple of runners I passed too.
The knee is feeling good and I'm keeping up with my physio exercises and stuck with his plan of keeping the distance down. I've enjoyed consolidating 5k again this week! My new shoes are so bouncy I've had to be disciplined not to run too fast but I'm now finding my comfortable pace and feeling like a proper runnerπ
Hopefully I can start back on the bridge to 10k soon...
Fabulous CH! Canβt say the same for the weather here - currently blowing a hooley and itβs been tipping down. But then Iβm still not running so it has until Monday morning to buck up for me! π€
I like the sound of your bouncy runners. I think I might bite the bullet and get a gait analysis done. If my ankle is a weakness (like your knee), I want to give it every chance. That, plus avoid smashing my toes doing dangerous yoga!!
Thanks cheeky, it's my day off so it's worked out well with lovely weather for my run then a walk to the waterfall on Dartmoor so I feel lovely and relaxed before my weekend at work.
I definitely recommend a gait analysis, it's pretty easy and I love my new trainers.π
Mega jealous of you walking on Dartmoor. My dad lived in Postbridge as a child, and he loved it more than anywhere in the world. I do too, itβs magical. Maybe a bit hilly for my runs though! πββοΈπββοΈπ³
