Just to let those of you know with Brooks shoes (and who might want a new or spare pair) they have a sale on their website. I’ve just bought another pair of my runners in a different colour so I can do that monthly “how worn out are my old shoes” check.

I was looking at some brooks yesterday, but I need another gait analysis. I’m getting sore heals after running so need something for my gait with extra cushioning.....

Do you think this may be the start of Plantar Faciilitis? Are rhe heels worse first thing in the morning and again after rest? If you think it is PF ensure you buy running shoes with a good heel to toe drop...... 12mm are recommended for PF sufferers but I have found 10mm suit. I personally wouldn't go less than that. GA wont pick up on PF Im afraid.

Hi - I read up on this yesterday. I don’t think it is, it mainly hurts after a run (feels bruised). Only slightly tender on the following morning. I can’t feel any tenderness around tendons just where I’m landing on my heels. I have ASICS GT2000 atm.... and they were recommended after a GA.

I think it’s more to do with being 18st (although I’m down from 19,6).

Is there anything you can recommend? I was looking at brooks & Hoka one one’s yesterday?

Thanks Jay, that’s my birthday present from mum and dad sorted out! 😀🎁 They will be quite surprised to be getting me something other than motorbike stuff 🏍 At least they will understand what running shoes are, unlike things like a steering damper and new shocks!! 😂🤣
