W5 R3 - tiger feet!

Well actually more like moggy feet.

But I put the track Tiger Feet on my running playlist so that I would get to it before the end of the 20 mins. If you’re as old as me you will remember it!

Anyway I have only gone and done it.

Past the half way point in the programme. 20 minutes running and it was surprisingly no more difficult than previous runs.

Dare I say it - it was actually rather easier because there was just a steady slow rhythm and I covered the treadmill screen to stop me looking at the screen every 10 seconds like I usually do.

For the first time I got the rhythm thing that people talk about. I hope I can get it again because I found my legs carrying me along without the usual pushing.

Also I had a look at some YouTube videos on running form for newbies and that helped with my posture and my foot fall. They were both pretty awful. But now I hold my head up and shoulders back and breathe! And I don’t step out too far so I avoid landing on my heel.

So - next run is Sunday and I gather there are some consolidation runs in W6 so looking forward to it which in itself is a minor miracle I promise you!

I love this programme so much. I might have to change my name at the end.
