Yes after all that blood sweat and tears not to mention expensive shoes bought ...... I love it and the feeling of freedom running (albeit slowly) outside with the wind in your hair .... I feel so lucky.

Still a relative newbie, but yes, still going and still looking to improve both endurance and speed, you have done the hard work, why stop now?

Yes! Not as frequently, fast or far as I would like to be, but I still run. Everybody's journey is unique to them.

Wrote this yesterday after my first run since May 20th:

I've not run sine 20th May...

That's far longer than the previous not running periods of 3 weeks! So, I took Oldfloss with me and kept it slow (although not as slow as I thought because the one and only mile was quicker than my last first mile [not much, bit still], must have been because I sped up to pass a potential axe murderer 😉Irishprincess. I also took a runner with me that I have never 'met' - someone I saw running in Corfu, in high 20's temperatures: I remember thinking 'I want to do that (heat and all)'. It's fair to say my running history has been fairly checkered but one day, one day.

It was fab. Every time I have a gap I worry that a) I'll have forgotten how to do it and b) I'll have fallen out of love with it. No and No. From the first steps my legs went 'I know this', they grumbled a bit in the sun but running through the shady woods was wonderful. I stuck to the mile, because it's been a while but am looking forward to more of them, individually or collectively. Who knows, I might even do just over six in a row again.

Probably anyone who hasn't (unless they're on the injury couch) isn't posting on here ...

Mind you I see a couple of people who say they do the programme over and over as they don't run over the winter or they just use it to build up to a once a year 5K. Don't know if that counts as not "continuing" to run.

It's addictive, you've bought the shoes (if not everything else), and it's so great so I guess a lot of people carry on :)

Definitely! Graduated Boxing Day last year, checking Strava tells me I’ve done 58 runs this year total of 300km!

Gets to the point when you’re disappointed if you miss a run for any reason ...🏃🏻‍♂️
