extra runs
I'm guessing a lot of people will pop up to say keep it at every other day for at least a year (or equally long-sounding timeframe). It makes sense. Not sure we're anywhere near fit enough yet to do more, tho it's tempting.
Worst possible outcome atm would be to over-stretch, over-train and end up injured.
Take it easy. Rome wasn't built in a day. Build that running body one pebble at a time...
Thank you makes a lot of sense to me that is exactly what I thought, but I wasn't sure if I should put the odd extra run in, I also do the parkrun so wasn't sure if that would count as one of my days, which I have been doing , or should that be the start of my add on run.
No worries. But I'm making this up as I go along as well. I reckon that parkrun would count as one of your running days. That gives me a problem, given my long-term running goals. Cos my "long" run will need to be at the weekend and I can't reconcile doing a (hmm) "fast" parkrun on a Saturday and then doing a longer run on the Sunday. Maybe one day, but not yet.
Do we get an extra day in the week post-Brexit? That might help us..
