Encouragement needed!

Should be doing run 2 of week 8. I’m faffing. Thinking I’ll do some trampoline instead or a 7 minute work out. Why do I put it off? Been awake since 6.30am but only just getting going. Had a cuppa but really hungry now which doesn’t help as I can’t eat before I run. Someone kick me up the behind 😫

Well. Good morning!

You know it’s only going to get hotter, don’t you? And it will still be hot until late tonight. And if you ran now you could ride on the wave of bliss all day.

Don’t let the gremlins stop you. Go and get your running kit on right now. No pause for thinking about it. Just do it.

And don’t come back until you’ve run!

SlimmingWorld for sure. Loads of men doing it. Instagram has lots of SW inspiration and you can follow SW on Facebook. As a newbie you’re probably best joining a group though to begin with. They have 6 week starter memberships. You’ll be very surprised how much you can eat and the variety of foods.

They’re all in the same boat and it’s good to kickstart. You can do an online version but it’s more costly. I do it alone but that’s because now I get how it works and can manage the meals and food optimising. It’s not a quick fix but it works, you will find lots of inspiration and people to follow over on Instagram 😊

If you go now while it’s relatively cool out it will be easier. Think of the lovely breakfast you can have afterwards. I find drinking water can help stave off hunger pangs. I can’t eat before running but once I get going I forget about being hungry. You’ll be so pleased with yourself if you go & do it 😉

You can do this just 😊 get ready make a start it will be over in 30 mins then you will have all day to feel absolutely proud of yourself 😊

But at the end of the day, if you're having too much fun reading the assorted wisdom on here, so what. Have the day off. Do it tomorrow. No-one died.

Just make sure you do it tho. Or we'll be round banging on the door at 6am :-)
