Eight and a bit short weeks ago I, like 1000's of others, decided to sign up to the C25k program.
Remembering W1R1, run 1 minute then walk for 1 1/2 minutes feeling so pleased I had got to the end of the session with no physical or mental damage being done.
Fast forward 8 weeks . . . 30 minutes without stopping with the added bonus, I covered the 5k!
To those just starting the program, it might seem like a mountain to climb, but like any mountain, it's there to be conquered. YOU CAN DO IT!
Avoiding any "If I can do it" cliches, because it really is up to you. All I will say is don't give up, believe in yourself and when you feel like you can't run any more . . . run a bit further. But most importantly of all, enjoy it!
