Forced myself out of bed and headed to my local park...what a gorgeous morning! Found the run hard going but completed it yay! Cant say I am 100% enjoying the runs yet...but I am definitely loving the feeling when I finish them! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜Ž

Is that Greenwich Park? I used to live there - not in the park (lol) but in Shooters Hill. I do miss it. It is a lovely morning.

Wow. Those views take some beating.

Enjoyment will come I’m sure. For me experimenting with pace helped - I was going too fast and found throwing in a slower run was nice.

Good luck with the rest of the programme. With that run in the bag (often a tricky one) you’re well on your way πŸ‘

Thank you! I'll try a slower pace and see if that helps πŸ‘

Well done! Are you blackheath way? I’m further down in Kent - I did the same run this morning too, thought it would be easier after W5!! πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Yes I live in Greenwich! It was tough! I started it thinking oh this will be a breeze! Haha how wrong was I ...but we did it so yaaaaay we are another run closer to graduating πŸ‘πŸ‘

I'm only on W4R3 so well done for getting that far! I loved Greenwich when I lived there. Blackheath is especially nice.

Well done jenstar76! I did the same run this morning and now understand why W6 R1 has the reputation of being a tricky one!!

I managed it, but found it probably the hardest yet. Can’t make the heat an excuse, as I was out really early. What a gorgeous morning 😎

Proud to have done it, though, and already looking forward to the next run πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ xx

Glad I am not the only one who found it tough! Love that sense of achievement afterwards...thats what pushes me on when so feel like giving up!

I found W6R1 tricky, the only run I’ve repeated so far. What a fabulous view you have. Our local park in the South London suburbs has distant views of the same buildings. Great way to finish a run. Good luck for the rest of W6.
