When I ran a 5K in January , on my way home afterwards I had excruciating pain in one of my calves. I hadn't done cool down exercises. I am running this distance again on Saturday.Was it lack of water? Please, could I have some ideas to prevent this again. It was agony.

Need to keep well hydrated drinking water often every day and always stretch your legs well after the runs and massage helps with tight muscles, can use a foam roller or simply use your hands.. see the links below..
