Did W4R1 today and really tempted to do R2 tomorrow but should I leave a rest day before I do it? Or go for it while I'm feeling positive?

Make sure you take your rest days to prevent injuries ok😁

ALWAYS take at least one rest day. (it’s when our muscles and bones repair and get stronger) our lungs get used to running before everything else. Good luck!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Hi Slingy68, as I have recently found out that if you miss a rest day you pay in coming days after as I have. You need the rest so your muscles and bones repair ready for your next run. Take your time it’s not a race, it’s a journey and it’s yours.

So, slow and steady, follow the program and don’t end up on the injury couch.

You’ve made the first steps out the door and started running it’s just a slow progression from here. It’s not a quick fix, this is a lifestyle change for the better. This forum is awesome and the people on it are even more awesome, there is a wealth of experience here. Read the posts and Taylor them for yourself.

We are here for you. If you need advice, a boost or a kick up the arse. Keep going.

Remember “YOU ARE AWESOME, YOU’RE A RUNNING IN THE MAKING”😊
