Week 2 problem

Hi all. This is my first time posting. I am new to the C25K world and just completed W2R1. I was due to do run 2 today but yesterday my horse stood on my toe and it’s almost certainly broken. Running is obviously out of the question - I am actually really disappointed- but my question is - should I wait until it’s better and start from scratch again or just carry on where I left off? Or wait a couple of days and attempt the run anyway? I am so annoyed with this setback. Thanks for reading this far :)

As with the infinite variations of your question, the answer is "it all depends on how long you are stopped from running"

You lose little discernible condition in two weeks ago, so you can start back where you left off. Any longer and you will have to see what you can manage.

This is all covered in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which will answer many other questions too.

Take care and recover fully before trying to run again.

Depending on which toe it is... you could buddy the toe up to the next toe, with tape and run if it is not too painful:) I have broken my little toe oodles of times:)

IannodaTruffe has given you the low down on recovery time:)

Do you have a minor injuries unit you could visit for advice about the toe?
