I started wk 7 today (already repeated wk6) and have stupidly/bravely registered for my local parkrun on Saturday. Will do 72 on Thursday, so Im going to treat it as 7th but hope I can complete it. Wish me luck!

I'm doing W7R2 at Parkrun on Saturday. I usually run alone so I am going to resist the urge to run at anyone else's pace and start and end with a 5 minute wslk as usual. I bet there'll be dozens of C25Kers at my run and yours too. Have a lovely time.

General advice is usually to start at the back at your own pace, or even start by walking and not get caught up,in the start rush. That way you can do your run your way and walk when/if you need to and at the end of your wk3 time with no pressure. You will complete and have fun doing it. Probably end up with the Park Run addiction to add to the running one 😀

As AnnieW55 says, find yourself space and don't get caught up in the rush.

Just stick with your C25K intervals. Don't forget your barcode. Do listen to the new runner's talk. Do register your club as NHS C25K and do have a wonderful time.

You’ll complete it, don’t be afraid to walk if you need to!

Love my ParkRuns! My first I walked. I just did my 5th and I do my3rd run of the week within it. People misunderstand and think they’re for elites only but they’re not - they’re for everyone! Some people just walk every week. The atmosphere is fab and everyone is supportive!

And one of the best thing about park runs is that you’ll never finish last!
