Run one in the bag - quite an easy one but I can feel the difference between it and week 4 - my legs are a little bit more tired than the week four runs and I can well imagine they are being trained up towards the much more serious running later in the week.
Good advice heeded about having an extra day rest - I wouldn't have wanted to go into run one yesterday. We are wondering tactically whether to have two days rest before or after run 3...it will probably depend on how we feel like after run 2 - that itself is quite a step up in terms of duration and I wonder how our legs will take it!
Anyway finally got the run out of the way so we can have a very late dinner...
