After a week of enforced rest and still not 100% I felt I just had to go for it and although my hip is still niggly, I did it. I felt my stamina was lower but I just kept going slow and steady and with Sarah urging me on I did it. Really chuffed. And pleased with the distance. I don’t think I’m ever going to be bounding along but right now I’ll settle for simply being able to get outside and run. Guess I’ve been bitten by the bug huh 😁❤️

Yay. Well done! Slow and steady is fine. It’s all you can do at the mo with the horrible pavements

So well done! Hope the hip will get even better: keep going slow and steady...
Well done indeed. I have a dodgy hip and really find rolling helps loosen the gluteus maximus
Ouch, sorry about the hip and well done for the run. I was hoping to have done that run by now, but the pavements are still slippery.
