W5R1 slow but sure

That seemed like it was over before it began. The key really is running slowly which takes a bit of concentration.

As a lifelong sloth I don't normally run at all unless I'm late or after a bus. So the idea of a leisurely run is a bit of a novelty to the body which doesn't really get why we are running at all if we are neither being chased nor chasing something.

Bear in mind that you just ran for a total of 16 minutes and now you will only be doing 15. And while you previously had to do four runs, now you only have to do three, AND you get more time to recover in between.

In week four I found that 90 seconds wasn't quite enough to fully recover from the initial three minute run. But three minutes is plenty to recover from a five minute run.

Thats true...i have definately found the 90 seconds not quite long enough to recover!!!in fact week 4 has had me responding verbally out loud to Michael Johnson & it wasnt always very polite haha 🤣😂

Now don't be ridiculous...except we're all being ridiculous, aren't we?

What I find fascinating about this process is that I have never stuck with any exercise programme before. I've joined gyms and not gone, I've bought exercise equipment and hung clothes on it, I've bought books and never even opened them.

It wasn't difficult...it was impossible.

Now I'm not saying this is exactly easy. It's just...happening.
