Not sure if this is where I post this but I just did my very first run. I couldn't quite manage 60 secs for the first couple but did about 45-50 secs. I was begging for the voice to kick in saying the 60secs was up but I did it! Yay! I waited til it got a bit dark as I felt embarrassed but after a bit I didn't care what I looked like. I forgot how hilly it is where I live, so had to keep running up and down my road. God knows what the neighbours thought π. I'm sitting here with a big smile on my face.

Great Job for starting!!!! I was posting this same stuff around 9 or 10 weeks ago (I can't remember exactly, but i'm about to graduate this week!) You can definitely do it!!! Wonderful job getting out there!
This is absolutely the right place to post! And check you out, youβve completed the toughest run, which is the one where youβve committed to getting out and running for the first time.
Stick with the programme and take it really slow and steady, and Iβm sure youβll surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
Happy running. ππ½ββοΈπ€
Brilliant start , slow and steady as everyone will tell u really does work . Welcome to the c25k app x
Well done you on kicking the couch and having done the hardest run of all. Youβve found the right place and the right people to support you through. Happy running.
Well done you, don't worry what people think, you are getting out there and you will be fit and much healthier for your effort. It does make you smile, wait till you start doing longer runs, you'll cry tears of joy. I did.
Hey badcrumble... well done on getting off the couch and getting out running...
It is hard when you start off but the program is designed to help ease you into it gradually, make sure you take at least one rest day inbetween runs, 2 if necessary, as you are asking your body to do things itβs not used to and need to give it time to adjust and repair...
Running is addictive and you will find the smile is with you more and more... itβs great not just for your physical health but mental heath too... so glad you are buzzing after your run πββοΈ
Keep running and keep posting updates...we love to see how everyone is doing

Well done - a great start. You'll be surprised how quickly you progress. Top tip? Go SLOW. I started off running up and down my street and then round the block - graduated a month ago. Trust the programme - you'll get there!
One down, quite a lot to go.
Well done on getting started.
If you are having trouble, slow down, even if you could walk faster.
Repeat any workout that you do not complete, after a rest day and when completed, move on.
Well done - getting started is the hard part. It will get easier and the plan does work. I was u 8 weeks ago. Im 51, 4 stone overweight and was panting like a dog after 60 secs. Trust in the plan and u will be amazed. Next week i will graduate and this will be u in 9 short weeks. Good luck
Well done! You will look back on it and marvel that 1 minute was so hard...but it will let you know how far you have come. X
