Yay! Glad to hear it went OK (once the shin relaxed). Don't know what stopped mine from hurting last time but think maybe other muscles/tendons etc are waking up a bit and starting to share some of the strain?? Don't know why the app doesn't mention stretching at the end of each run but I do it and I'm sure it helps a lot. Hope the rest of your week goes well.
Ive found runnersworld.com/the-body-s... , I have only tried them once but they seem ok and hopefully will help. I do your run tomorrow, looking forward to it.
