Step 1, week 1

I've never ran (for a hobby/lifestyle choice) in my life. I am 17 stone (was 18stone 4 approx 14 weeks ago. Thought I'd give this a go. Completed step 1 tonight. Struggled to do the whole 60 secs of each run (gentle jog). Missed the last but 1 (just walked) but I did it (with a bit of adjustment!). Think I may have found a new hobby. 😀

Well done for getting started!! It took me 3 tries to do the first run properly, then I had to do it twice more to finish the week (so I did it 5 times in all). I couldn't believe how hard it was to 'run' for 60 secs! I was so out of shape! That was in August. I can run for half an hour now. Stick with it. The plan really works. You've just taken the first steps towards a life changing new hobby. Go you!!! :-)

Congrats on your first run. I had to make adjustments on my journey too, which is ok just keep going and do give.
