Getting back to it.

I was so close to graduating then I went on holiday and lost my mojo and so haven t run since mid July. However I miss my morning runs so my question is do I start from the beginning again or try to pick up somewhere around week four. I really need to do this as my 'get fit and slim for 60' pledge will fail miserably and I don't want that .

That's what I thought , but when you start to over think things....will be brushing off the running gear tues day morning. (Will be at work in the morning)

Just pop your running gear on and go out for a run...maybe Week 4 if that is what appeals to you..or maybe W5 R3 and see how you get on. You will have lost a bit of stamina, but may surprise yourself.

Nice and slow and steady no expectations to gauge whereabouts your running is.

Welcome back and let us know how it goes 😊x

You have just mentioned several motivational points. Just go out there, start running and don't stop again.

From the beginning? Why not. ;)

Personally, I would ‘start from the very beginning, a very good place to start’ as Julie Andrews would sing...at least you will confirm what you ve already done, if it feels easy then move on to somewhere that feels like a challenge....then the rest will fall into place...😉 stay on here for advice & encouragement & enjoy the journey
