Yes me, I did it!! Who'da thought it??

It was slow, sooooo slooooow. I started slowly and then went slower still, but I'm fine with that as I know it's something I can work on as my running journey progresses. I ran on the treadmill today, and my husband, who'd been playing tennis, was waiting for me outside the gym with a friend, who kindly said that I didn't even look too red (she didn't know that I'd already washed my face and taken the redness down a few levels πŸ˜„). Think hubby is rather proud of me, as, I have to say, am I.

I'm really enjoying this journey. I never, never thought I would say that. I've always been firmly in the "I can't run" camp, even through the first few weeks of the programme. I know I'm very young in my life as a runner (if less so in my actual life πŸ˜‚), but it's giving me a real buzz every time I notch up another run and achieve a little bit more.

What can I say, I think I'm hooked! Come on week 6, I can do this!!!

whooo hooo, well done that's the run that seems to catch so many out but when you've got through that one the rest just sort of follow and it's a steady jog to the finish line

Fabulous- onwards, upwards :)

It is a big step up and I couldn't believe I could do it - I did and finished Wk9 last week - you can do it

You bet your bottom you can do this! Slow starts are somewhat of a revelation myself too this week (also week 5) and it goes to show the journey we're on! It's shows you are awesome and you can achieve so much with perseverance. Well done!
