30mins 5k?

Well, I took the advice of #oldfloss and rearranged my route so that the dreaded hill is my 5 min cool down walk....so I've done W9r3 x6 times but still can't manage 5k, can only do 4K in 30 mins.......so I can't really graduate but today started R19 of R210K, ( knew I could ace a 7 minute run and didn't want to go back to W1 x1 min runs) and I did easy easy, so will be scooting up this programme, yet disappointed the old legs won't let me do 5k in 30 mins.

STOP!!! You are a graduate. We all know that the aim is to run for 30 minutes, three times. So you've graduated.

The program is called C25K but that is not accurate. But it is more catchy than the correct C2r430m3xi1w (which would never catch on).

Congratulations, graduate - you have successfully completed the programme. Brilliant!.

Now you can start working towards running 5K. You may, like many of us, never run 5K in 30 minutes but make no mistake - you ARE a graduate so go and get your badge!

Yay! The badge it is, thank you #sheps and #MarkyD. I am going for the 10K though, I've got 6 weeks to my 64th birthday, on a roll.......I'm just going to call myself a plogger, plodding jogger lol.

P.S. Where do I go for the badge??

ju-ju is the posh lady in the big hat with the "medals" on a cushion. ( They are actually chocolate coins but that's ok by me)

The other replies say it all, all I can add is CONGRATULATIONS!

You are a graduate, you are a spiffing graduate, you will do the 5k at your own pace and the 5 in 30 is a heck of a target. But you ran the 30 minutes 6 times, lady your badge has been languishing in a drawer wondering if you'd bother to pick it up! You are too modest about your achievement, you have done sparklingly well. 🏃🏼🏃🏼🏃🏼👟👟👟🎓🎓🎓👍👍👍🏅🏅🏅🥂🥂🥂🍾🍾🍾🍾😇😇😇😇😇

I'm using 6x the number of emojis cos you did that last graduation run 6 times!
