Hi hunty. Don't be worried to ask, no such thing as a bad question. A podcast is an audio file which you download to your phone and run along to. It's a lot like the app but it doesn't tick off the sessions for you and there's only one trainer so you can't choose.

The trainer tells you when to run/walk and there's music in between (you don't choose it, it's pre-programmed). Hope that helps.

There's a C25k podcast and one called 'strength and flex' which is recommended for rest days. (I don't do that one).

Strength and Flex is a very useful one though.. many of the graduates used it alongside C25K :) On rest days:)

If you look at the pinned posts below, you will find links to the heakthunlocked pages, how to run properly, how to stretch and the link to the strength and flex podcasts.

These files can be downloaded to an mp3 or a phone and unlike an app doesn't require a signal to run.

Don't worry, I have never used an app!😆

Hi, it's an audio file- I think it's referred to as a 'Podcast' because people often download them to iPods (and other MP3 players).

I'm on week 7 too- how are you finding it?

Hi :) I'm really enjoying it but some runs seem to be easier than others, I still can't quite believe I can run for 25mins lol how are you finding it?

That's good- yes it's strange that way! Have you just completed the second run? I'm finding it ok but I skipped several weeks (because I used to be able to run 5k a couple of years ago) and I'm now regretting that! I can run for 25 minutes but my legs ache and I should have probably worked up to it properly! I might have to redo week 6 so that I can run the 25 minutes a bit more comfortably! Do you eat anything before your runs and do you run at a particular time of day?
