Week one, about half of run 1

First time out today probably managed about 3.5 mins of the 8 mns . However as it took me 20 mins sitting in my running gear in the hall to even get out the door, I'm taking it as a win πŸ˜‚

Total win, getting out the door is the hardest part. Today was a practice run, next time you'll smash the 8 minutes.

Definitely a win. Only way you can lose at this programme is to give up. Might take more than 9 weeks but you can do it.

Definitely a win. You got out there and you ran for a few minutes. You also walked for about 20 minutes. Next time you'll run for a bit longer and be surprised at how quickly your body adapts. If you want to do this you will. And it is definitely worth it!

That spirit will turn you into a runner, no problem.

If you don't complete a run then you repeat it until your body is capable of doing it, then you move on. That is the way the programme works. Try a bit slower next time.

See you at the finishing line.

Very well done on taking the first steps! That's the first mental hurdle out of the way. Enjoy your running journey 😊

Well done for starting the program.😊

Have your rest day and take the run sections nice and slow and steady next time.

Getting out of the door is the hardest part. Good luck and keep posting...

Remember, " You don't have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great". This gets me out the door on days when I'm not feeling it!

My running in the first weeks was more of a shuffle/ jog. Don't worry about speed, you really don't have to go any faster than you walk, you just have to get your body used to doing the running action.

Have faith in the program, believe in yourself and bring your questions, concerns, frustrations, and successes here to your cyber running buddies. We are all behind you every step of the way. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ
