It does, Cliff. I'm a bit of an on/off runner but it's been very much OFF for the last couple of years, so I'm using C25K to give me the structure I need to get back in the traps. I've started going to my local ParkRun, but it's an uphill first half and my fitness is just not there to handle that at the moment, but after a few weeks of C25K, hopefully I'l be "running up that hill", like Kate Bush says!
