After a life time of thinking how rubbish it is to do anything sporty, I've started couch to 5K with my neighbours and have completed week 1 and 3 runs feeling great. I can't believe I am genuinely looking forward to week 2. Bring on 5K, whenever that will be lol

Forget 5K.. that will come when it..and you are ready...
Just follow the programme...keep it slow and steady and take your rest days Even though it is great to run with chums.. you keep at your own pace... don't be pushed
