Week 2 completed....

This morning was up and out to complete my 3rd run of week 2 - really enjoyed it although was definately slower than run 2 - hampered by my 10mth old kitten deciding to follow me !! So I didn't cover quite the same distance but I still did it. Next run will include the 3 minutes - not sure how I will manage that as 90 seconds seems hard enough but will give it my best shot - hopefully minus the kitten next time !!

Well done.... but at this stage, just forget about speed and distance. This is about building up slowly to the 30 minute runs... it is about stamina and running strength.. so take it steadily.

Focus in each run and do not worry about the next one... the programme is designed, if you follow it properly, to take you to the nine week podium( or however long it takes you).

So... onward and upward... slowly :)

Thanks Oddfloss - at the moment I can't quite believe that I will be able to run for 30 mins but I trust the programme and find this forum really inspiring too. A rest day tomorrow for me then I tackle W3R1 - one run at a time !!
