Early bedtimes

So I enjoy the 6am run as I know I won't be spotted but have noticed that this means early nights, herbal tea before bed and an early start to bank holiday weekends... feels like I'm making the most of my time!

I am skipping the weekend breaks and just doing alternate days... is that ok?

I've taken to running at night, probably for similar reasons. It's also cooler, and a colleague who knows what she's talking about told me that professional runners train at night, something to do with the dark helping to moderate your pace.

As for weekends, I'm not sure what you mean. I'm just doing alternate days, including weekends and weekdays alike.

That what I'm doing with alternate days but I'm aware that some people don't run at a weekend and do the three runs a week.

Sounds interesting with the nighttime running! Maybe during the holidays... I'd be useless at work! Though the winter will have the darker mornings so may work 😀

I graduated the week before Christmas 2015.. it was dark in the morning, and by late afternoon too... you just get a head torch :)

It doesn't really make any difference when you run... as longs as you run! Well done you, anyway :)

Welcome.. and hi!

This a great programme, whenever you do it. I run early too, out of choice..not because I am afraid of anyone seeing me I just love early morning runs :)

As long as you follow the C25K programme, you organise the runs to suit you.. as long as you take your rest days and travel, steady and slow :)

E,g.... because of my weekly diary, I run Sunday, Tuesday and Friday....:) Folk fit it round their lifestyle:) Make sure you try to fit in some exercise at weekends and on your rest days.. you could try Strength and Flex.. it can be done at home.. and many of us did this alongside C25K...very useful! As for not being seen.... many folk felt like that at the start..( it never lasts long) . but, honestly, people are generally far too wrapped up in their own lives to notice...they may stare out of curiosity, jealousy or because they are runners too. Maybe at some point you will find the courage, as you go on, to get out there and show everyone just how determined you are.

Keep posting for lots of support and advice and friendship too...:)
