Well 3 weeks ago I graduated c25k covering a distance of 1.61 miles, today I ran for 3.19 miles, my 5k time is very slow of 58:36, however I thought lets stop on the hour. My aim today was to cover the distance and record my first 5k time, now something to work on.

Well done! Keep going, slow, but sure. This is it with running, you can just keep going ☺ You get steadily fitter as you work gradually to increase your distance.,as you get stronger you will speed up. It does take time though but it's well worth doing ☺
Well done! I found it a bit tough to keep myself going after graduating, but your idea of setting yourself goals does work. My goal at the moment is just to get out there because with other things going on I've not been running at all for ages. Hence on here to be inspired by you guys!
I have been running three times a week since graduation, 1 long and 2 intervals. The thing I have adopted is, to walk SLOW and not brisk. The Galloway programme states walk slow not brisk as this helps to reduce injury and improve stamina, well it works for me.
