Hello all

Well today was supposed to be wk7r1, a run of 25 mins, however I just ran for 30 minutes! to be honest using the term "run" is pushing it, not much faster than my walking pace. I got to 25 and thought, lets see if I can get to 30 and I did!! So on Monday I will again see if I can get to 30 and if I do then only one run to go!

Well done, BUT resist the urge to go further at this stage. Go just far enough and leave it at that. The easiest way to get hurt is by pushing too much at this early stage. Leave it for post Graduation runs when you will be getting stronger

There's plenty of time

Great stuff, well done.

I would concur with Misswobble, though. Overuse and doing too much too soon is the most common cause of injury. The program is nine weeks for a reason. Take it easy and try to stick to the remainder of the program to ensure that your leg muscles and aerobic capacity are suitably developed to take the next steps.
