Am so proud of my 6 year old Great nephew starting running at JPR! (I run with his dad at Parkrun) Just done his 8th week in a row and he is already into checking his times for a PBπ.. I wonder where he gets his motivation from!?π So, what with his football training on Saturday's and JPR on Sunday's, oh! and tennis academy at school, I think he's doing quite well at sport & excercise at a young age!π
Great nephew at Junior Parkrun: Am so proud of... - Couch to 5K
Great nephew at Junior Parkrun
Totally super!!! He gets it from his Great Uncle !!! and His great Aunt too!
Motivation?
The motivation of youth... running because you can... stopping when you have had enough... and just enjoying... the young can teach us so much ! x
Aah he already looks like a proper runner Dave in his kit..a very determined expression there..π
Good stuff and well done young Linkster.πxxx
Great picture Dave - he looks really determined.
Why is the hardest then Dave? I have thought I should try some other runs in the area but then I would have to get up earlier. Having trouble getting to Parkrun at all at present. First one this year last Saturday, seem to be working a lot of weekends or away enjoying myself.
Well AR that's what I've heard, because of the hill..In the mud during the winter makes it worse.. I've been slip sliding around on it..
I think Rosliston might challenge it for the hardest, pr tourist don't come more than once generally. Mind you it's a great run for stamina and hill training! π
Excellent news! Well done to your great nephew and obviously a big pat on the back to his motivator and inspiration! πͺπ»π I don't think he'll ever be accused of being a couch potato in his life. ππ»ππ»ππ»β½οΈ
Wee sweetie. He looks really into it. You've clearly been a great mentor.
He likes the small (wee) scones he calls them cones! Ha Haπ
Anne, My other G nephew also 6 and lives up in Scotland hasn't been well with mesenteric adenitis, so we were worried and nothing could be seen on scans until diagnosed with MA..π
