Started week 3 today and this appeared in my facebook timeline just before I left. It sums up why im doing this, I don't want to be the fastest or the skinniest or competing for any titles really, I just want to be a stronger me, one run at a time

I like the focus if gives to personal achievement, as you say it is all towards self improvement.

Thats why it grabbed me, its not evaluating you against anyone, its not idolising some end goal, its just recognising the achievement of going on that one run today

Yep, one run at a time. When you're on a run you're immersed in it. Nothing else to do but that run. It might only be a short window but you come to value the time and space it gives you. It's not all about the running. There are fringe benefits!

Have fun!
