So, the sun had set - still 34 degrees. Lovely wind though.
First five minutes dominated by the usual aches and strains as my legs loosen up and lungs get up to speed. "Why am I doing this, this is a terrible idea."
Then fifteen minutes of "Hey, everything's working, this is great!"
Then five minutes of "Oh, this is getting a bit tricky."
Then a final three minutes of "When will this torment end! And this is a bad song, who chose this?"
Picture looking west across the small lake in the centre of the park showing the skyscrapers of the central business district looming nicely on the horizon.

Thanks, it's been a great holiday. Though I admit I do look forward to getting back home and doing week 9 in UK autumn temperatures. I wonder how it'll feel not to be overheated?
I am in Cyprus as we speak. I have completed 3 runs here, and will do another on Friday all being well. I'm thinking if I can run in this heat/ humidity it will stand me in good stead for when I run back at home, fingers crossed. 👍🏼. Either way at least we can be happy we are still running whilst away from home😎
