I'm New to this site. Just finished week 1 and was surprised how quickly my fitness level has adjusted, however, I really hurt my foot and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to reduce injury or some running technique advice please? I don't want to have to stall because of it!
Thanks in advance!

Well done getting through week 1! Top advice, go slow, especially while your body gets used to the new impacts and movements that you're subjecting it to.
Also, get a gait analysis and spend out on some proper supportive running shoes which suit the way you run. I'm just off the back of eight weeks on the injury couch due to cheap rubbish shoes.
Third lot of advice, stretch after running (I also stretch between the warm up walk and the run which made all the difference to my calves).
Make sure you have at least one rest day between runs and if you need two rest days between runs, that's fine. There is no need to complete the three runs in a calendar week.
Hope that helps! If you are really struggling then rest up for a few days until you feel able to run again. A couple of extra rest days is preferable to weeks on the injury couch.
