This is a personal musing rather than a technical 'how my run went' post.
A few of you who follow me know I had a lot of pain on Tuesday night and all Wednesday due to inflammation in my SI joint - its now Thursday night and all the pain has totally gone. If I can flip over in bed with no pain tonight then I am going to go for Week 4 run 1 tomorrow.
I remain feeling positive, I don't want to get into the mindset that I am going to have this pain every few weeks. On my last post I got great advice and a member suggested getting my running shoes looked at and I have made an appointment for gait analysis even though I am petrified of being the biggest person in the shop (I can see all those ultra-runners in my mind's eye) but what have I got to lose? Nothing. What have I got to gain? Everything.
