I was going to title this post 'a confession' because it is, but having just looked at my activity tracker it told me I'd RUN for 30 minutes, whereas on Thursday, when I'm pretty damn sure I went faster at times, it didn't register running at all - hence the confusion. Also I've just taken my heart rate and it's back down to 74, usually around high 80's at this point. Getting fitter then.
Confession: Having finally got a run tracker watch I re-ran my graduation run. Including an endless incline. I thought I'd hit 5km at graduation but Garmin tells me it was only 3.46. Oh well. I know what the challenge is now! BUT. I. RAN. FOR. 30 MINUTES. NON STOP. and I didn't (really) need my activity tracker to tell me that.
And nobody laughed at my colourful capri pants. In fact one chap said I'd got 4 years and they'd keep an eye out for me (nicer than wasp woman OldPossum !).

I'm thinking about a proper fitness tracker. I'm currently using a free Sony band thing that my husband got a couple of years ago with a tablet. it's got no GPS and questionable step counting. What one are you using?
You did run for 30 minutes!! You're a runner!! That really isn't too far off 5k, if you're getting fitter and faster which you no doubt are then you'll be hitting it soon!
Thank-you and damn skippy! I was a little disappointed but on Wednesday I'm going out on the flat to see what the distance is then. How's the view where you are?
