Rewind to Week 6...

After ten days of resting a strain, I decided to go back a few runs. Instead of heading straight for Wk7 R3, I wanted to ease back in, probably to prove to myself that I can get back out there! Nice run- week 6 run 1. I remembered doing this last month and finding it so hard but this time around, it was very enjoyable! I even managed to do it without headphones- had Laura in my pocket for timekeeping but no music. It was a refreshing change.  Will do a 20 minute run next time and, all being well, pick up week 7 where I left off at the end of the week. The ankle seems to be holding up okay, thank goodness.   Back in the game! Phew- was starting to really miss it!

..and it really is horrid when you do have to stop running... Gosh, I felt so much better when I got out again Tuesday!

Well done on your run and taking it steadily... onwards and upwards and gently does it! :)

Excellent celtprof so glad you managed to get back out and your ankle is alright with resuming! A week I've been on the IC now and it's really frustrating.. especially seeing everyone graduate.. Pam.. jt and shivani all crossed and big well done to them.. we will get there:)

I know! It's frustrating, but we have to remember that it's not a race. We'll get there!

Well done for getting back out there - it must have felt fantastic to enjoy the run so much! I was shocked by how much I missed getting out for a run, and how good it felt to be exhausted and out of breath again, hehe!

Glad to hear it's feeling ok back out there x Remember slow and steady :) I know we've all been pushing for the c25k finish line but there's years and miles of running ahead of us, definitely take your time xx

Excellent, well done. It's amazing how we miss running when we can't. And yet, before Laura, none of us even dreamed we would ever run properly. You'll be graduating in no time!
