well done OldPapaBear - congrats. Each day is a new victory :-).
One thing I found that really helped was the day of rest. I also found youtube.com/watch?v=zSIDRHU... really helpful in terms of improving form (which will help with your knees).

Cool downs don't need to be tricky. Just simple stretches will do. Calf stretches, stretch out the glutes and ham strings, arms and shoulders and your neck. You can loosen out your arms, neck and shoulders on your cool down walk

You may be having a problem with the stretching due to wearing the wrong outfit, Darcy wouldn't do it without her tutu and pink tights.
