I quite like this easy explanation of weight loss and the new runner.

Runtastic sent this email through this morning. I still find it strange how many running related emails I wake up to In the morning from various running communities.

I though this one was very good at answering the question "I'm on week 7 how come I haven't lost much weight?"

There are so many positive things going on behind the scenes.

Good article... positive and informative too.

Like the reference to not being a slave to the scales; my daughter took mine away.. and said it is not about numbers and weight.. it is about how you feel.

This article confirms that. During the first weeks of Couch to 5K, I lost half a stone initially, ( too much for me according to my well woman check) but then have gone up again by three pounds and it feels just right!

Losing weight again now though as back on the IC with the bronchial lurgy again! Blow!

Thanks for the link:)

Sorry to hear you're not well floss. :(

We need to shake these bugs off soon, so we can enjoy some springtime runs like gamboling lambs in the sunshine...

Its a nice thought anyway.. :)
