Swings and roundabouts. Roll with the punches, as there will be good weeks and bad weeks. Think of it as a long term process. In fact I suppose for some of us weight watching is for life, so you need a diet that is sustainable.
When I was within half a pound of goal I spent six months trying to shift it. Nothing I did worked. I nearly drove myself daft. In the end I thought stuff it, just forget about it. Next weigh in I had surpassed expectations and lost a pound and a half, getting to goal with a bit to spare.
Just stick with it. If you know you are eating the right things then the weight will shift. If you are exercising that is
hahaha, your mum has a wicked sense of humour, although I'm sure it's not quite as much fun being the subject of the practical joke. But glad you can laugh about it. And of course the weight is just a number that means nothing in the real world (unless you're a jockey or professional boxer).
