Recommendations please!

I am thinking it is going to need to be one of those crazy ones with a strap that goes over the top of your bounce as well as around the circumference, to keep the thing on whilst running; also I need gazillions of lumens due to failing eyesight and my extraordinary speed- mot quite the speed of light at an average of 7:12 / km πŸ˜€ but some of my splits have even made it down to 6:40/km (that's what Laura ' s strict stepping stones has done!)- all suggestions welcome

Thanks and happy wet running folks!

I have one of these:

banggood.com/2000LM-CREE-XM...

It's cheap, rechargable and stonkingly bright. The downside is that it will take quite a while to reach the UK, although for an extra Β£2.16 they will ship in 5-10 days.

What I have not in fact done is run in mine so I can't comment on its comfort for that, or in fact whether it will last for the duration of a really long run but I would be surprised if it doesn't last for a half-hour outing.

Thanks Ugi! That looks like the bizz- but running isn't one of the activities it is recommended for? When you look at the pics it looks as though you would illuminate enough to run into, if that makes sense-...!?

We chatted about these recently and Tea Fairy came up with the Lenser (Neon I think) Looks good!

Then there's the Alpkit and the Petzl. I don't think a full headstrap is essential as they stay in place apparently

Running cap with a built in led light in the peak Β£4.99 in aldi, I tried one on and seemed OK, but didn't buy as don't have to run in dark..

How did you get on with it? Did you use it off-road?

It's good but not that bright for off road. I now have a chest torch from the decathalon website which I really like!😊

Thanks. Would you be able to share a link or the model no?

I have had great success with Alpkit ones. Super bright, go for ever without needing new batteries and at sub Β£20 not the end of the world when the kids take them on school trips and lose them.
