Felt better today and managed 2 long small slopes , hills are my friends !!! Giggled a bit at that whilst struggling up one , didn't manage 20 mins but nearly there . Many many thanks for all tips and encouragement. Felt like giving up after last attempt , but thanks to you lot got my head sorted and will carry on

Oh oh, be careful! Hills will make you not just a bit nuts like Gary said, but totally bonkers....I often come home laughing out loud after a hill session... maybe it's just French hills...

Well done. What part of France are you running in. I'm at Blois, on the banks of the Loire, half way between Tours and Orléans.
