Well after much deliberating I started at week 4. Having already done 3k on Monday I did day 2. It was the longest I have been on a treadmill as did the 3k in about 24 mins but it was great. Felt fab! Looking forward to doing day 3 tomorrow.
Any advice about week 5 - it scares me to look at day 3 next week!!!

The best advice I can give is, that for weeks 5 and 6, don't look ahead i.e. don't look at week 5 run 3 until you have completed week 5 run 2. You can do it. The difficulties in weeks 5 and 6 are all in the mind.
Well done in getting this far Laura. The programme prepares you for each and every run so, although some of them look scary, you are ready for them. Think back to that very first run. You probably think it's quite easy now but at the time it was so hard.
Week 5 is the turning point when you really do become a runner, so just relax, run nice and slowly and enjoy the feeling once you've done the runs.... and you will.
Pretty much everyone frets that W5R3 is beyond them but that vast majority get through it on their first attempt.
The program is very well structured and every time you run (and rest) you get a little bit stronger and fitter. Just take each run as it comes and trust that the cumulative effect of all those improvements will mean that you are ready for the particular run that you are facing.
