Thanks for all the supportive comments re completing W5R3, glad to report that W6R1 under my belt but why is running 5 minutes so much harder than 20! Laura is great but my colleague is my companion on 2 out of the 3 runs each week and it really does help to have her there... to keep me on my toes (well plodding feet).

Week six has a reputation for catching everyone out - going back to intervals popped the bubble for me after the 20 minute run, and I suspect that the walking intervals are designed to lull our bodies and brains into a false sense of security before having to set off at a jog again. However, it's doable if you remember to gag the gremlins and keep a steady pace :D Not long till the final stretch now... :D

You are now in the part of the program that deals with the mental challenge of running! It's all about beating the head gremlins - keep going, you are almost there!
