but I did it! Week 6 run 3. My first run in the rain and it was a bit windier than I would have liked too! I was doing ok until the half way point when I turned around and my specs immediately steamed up as the wind was now behind me! I had to whip them off and shuffle along blind for a while. Its taken me longer than 6 weeks to get to this point as my sore knees mean I have to leave 3-4 rest days in between runs but I am so chuffed to have got this far. And Laura says I am now a runner!!

Congratulations on becoming a runner, not much longer now until you graduate. Well done for sticking at it. I found I had to take an extra days rest in between rune especially when I got to the longer runs. Kelp going and good luck😁😁😁

You said it all. It was tough but you did it! Fab. It doesn't matter how long it takes to do this. It took me 6 months for various reasons and that hasn't done me any harm whatsoever!

Thanks! I felt like skipping home in that 5min cool down walk I was so pleased with myself but my legs were too wobbly! Even my teenagers were impressed and that doesn't happen very often!!

Well done you. I had the same problem, but just take it easy and you'll get there in the end.

Great stuff! You are doing a great job. Sounds like you're enjoying it too. A few days rest between runs is fine. Your body needs to restore itself on your days off, and repair any loose connections sorta thing.

Keep running slowly and steadily and you'll soon be a graduate.

When you hear Laura tell you that you are now a runner there is nothing quite like it is there

I ran through a gaggle of teenagers last night and they were urging me to "go missus".
