Husband went into Tesco armed with vouchers to buy me a Garmin15. Wee boy says sorry we don't carry them in store but I can order it online for you and as it's your first online order you will get £10 off. Ok says husband. So wee boy says watch is £119 - £10 discount - £53 vouchers which double up to £106 through Boost scheme so that will be £3 cash please sir. Bargain!

I know I am so excited . Had no idea we had so many vouchers as used to buy nappies for grandchildren with them . It s what I wanted for Christmas but think I might have to have a wee play with it before the. I can always wrap it up so have something to open on the 25th

Forerunner 15 is great, you will love it.

I bought one just over 2 weeks ago and am really pleased with it. It took awhile to find it's satellite friends the first time, but seems to be getting faster and faster (about 10 seconds now, 4 minutes the first time).

Dont worry if it fails to do all the updates the first time you connect it to Garmin Express. Mine said not enough memory for updates. But when it says that, disconnect it, let the watch do its update thing, then reconnect it to usb again and it will do the rest of the updates. I think it's just that it has a lot of updates to do the first time you connect it and its too mmany in one go.

Then create your Garmin Connect account on the Garmin site and it will draw lovely maps of your runs and create lots of nice stats for you.

If you want a heartrate monitor for it then I recomend the MIO Link. It goes on your wrist instead of your chest and it connects via the Garmin ANT+. It uses light instead of electricity to measure heartrate. It works extremely well.

Good luck with Garmin, he's a wonderful thing :)
