This morning I completed The first in the final few podcasts with Laura.. The end is in sight and I feel almost comfortable joining in with Park Runs! But sad to think I will move on to my own music and no encouragement from Laura anymore :( How do people cope?

But my gosh my hip/pelvic area has started hurting a treat in the last few runs - powered through and getting sports massage which I'm told it might help.

well done jennifer :D 2 runs and you will graduate :D I will use laura for a couple of weeks after graduation then look at the 5k+ podcasts or just use Runkeeper ,:D good luck with your final 2 runs

Not long now... I really hope your pain goes away and doesn't hold you up... perhaps take an extra day off.

We download Laura's C25k+ podcasts! Three podcasts - Stepping Stones, Stamina and Speed, which you can use in any order and mix em up as you like. I still have them on my mp3 player and run them whenever they crop up. I love em! Good to get back in touch with Laura from time to time, like a security blanket if you like.

Run a bit slower maybe? Also have an extra bit of rest. As you get stronger with regular running - and maybe some other exercise such as walking, cycling, swimming, gym/home exercise etc, you will find the niggly pains will go. Your skeleton needs to get stronger to support your running, and I think as new runners we all experience the niggles of ankles/knees/hip etc.

I hope your hip pain clears up without any further problem Jennifer and that you can graduate with no further ado. Good luck!!!!! Pom poms at the ready and Slookie is buffing the badge as I type. The fizz is chilling ...
