I'm in Zarautz, Northern Spain on my way home to UK. Last time I was here in May on my way home, I did week 2 and promptly got shin splints. Two weeks off running and some new shoes, on the way back in June, I did week 3 very gently! Now I'm here again on my way home and feel quite emotional that the Curly who was here just a few weeks ago couldn't really run...
Last time here I saw a dream route all along the sea front, and hoped I would be up for it on my next visit. Well, that's now, and I'll be doing that tomorrow. Thank you C25K!
Would that be Zarautz in the Basque Country, Curly? Had a lovely holiday there, visiting a Basque friend in the late 80s. I have a photo somewhere of me in Basque national dress, dancing at a fiesta.

Yes AncientMum, it is! Lovely place, we stop off there on our way to and fro between UK and France, on the ferry from Bilbao or Santander to Portsmouth. I ran from Getaria, which is the little fishing village you can see in the distance (it's not that far!) to the left of Zarautz. I'm going to write up my run now, sorry for late reply but I just got home last night.
