Oh no!!! Don't look too far ahead - you will only worry about it, when in reality when you have done the previous sessions you should be well able to take on the new task.

Don't pass out - you'll be fine!

First of all, congratulations for what you have achieved so far. Never dismiss the hard work and massive improvement you have already made :-)

Secondly, I also dreaded the r3 of wk5. I couldn't believe the massive step up in time without a break. However, trust in the programme and what it is designed to do. I, along with so many others have succeeded, despite our reservations!

Just pace yourself, think positive and go for it! You just might surprise yourself!! X

Well done so far. For the next run, start off more slowly and that should help you keep going for longer. If you're not sure you're starting slowly enough, slow down a little bit more - you can always speed up near the end if you feel confident. After the run, celebrate ! It was my favorite run of the whole program and I danced in the shower afterwards :-)

Hi FT, I also was very unsure about wk5 r3, but I just completed it this morning so you can do it too!

As others have said take it as slowly as you can; keep your breathing going strong BEFORE you run out of air; in my case I changed to music to some up tempo stuff, but thay was just a personal choice at the last minute before I went out.

We are all behind you - in a manner of speaking ;-)

You will get there ~ thousands have, and they will all support you.

Don't go for speed, is my best advice. Take it easy, get the distances sorted and the times will start to drop. Trust me, it will happen.

Good running.

I did exactly that but managed the third run ok. You'll be fine. Doing W6R1 today - no idea what to expect as made sure I didn't listen ahead !
