First run of week 9 done! I still can't quite believe that I'm at this point, running 30 minutes. I feel so proud of myself and got a teeny bit teary at the end.
I mapped the running part and covered 2.54 miles, so hopefully I'm not too far off actually running 5K as well.

I am doing fine, managed all of my runs on holiday, which meant I was up early and drank less. Which is all good. I was walking loads every day too, once day over 15 miles so my hip started to ache a bit. maybe doing a bit too much for a woman of more mature years :). It's been fine since I came home and just doing my normal walking again.
Got one more run to go. Probably do it on Wednesday morning. So excited and chuffed. Would never ever have thought I would get to this stage. Well done us!
That's fantastic! We did a 5.5 mile walk one day last week which scuppered my planned run, and I did a bootcamp which nearly killed me lol! I was hoping to get my last run done on Saturday morning at my local ParkRun, but it's looking like I'll be at work instead
Run two I'll do tomorrow, then it'll be either Friday or the weekend for the big one!! So exciting! I genuinely never believed I'd get this far, not in a million years
